Beer or beer?

Well working on motorcycles and beer seem to go hand in hand, I figured I will start a post about peoples favorite brew. What do you drink? Do you make a batch of home brew?

Ah, Banks's Mild Ale ......never seen it in NZ though

I've been brewing for a few years, even built a small brew shed.
My main drink is Coopers Real Ale (with a hint of cardamon), but also keep a few Blackrock Lagers in stock.
About a month ago I bottled a batch of Coopers Lager with manuka honey. The honey requires a lot more bottle time for flavours to settle & tends to make your boots rather wobbly.

I was looking at getting into homebrew myself but been delayed by more pressing bills.

Favorite drops currently are the Montieths Velvet Stout and Mac's Great White

Those pressing bills will be a lot easier to pay once you are brewing, apart from the initial set up cost. A 750ml bottle will cost about 60cents to produce & even years later, every bottle still comes with a sense of satisfaction.
