| I thought i would do a project file on my bike finally Whatever the fuck you wanna call it, its a bike, it has two wheels, bobber, chopper, whatever. Call it what you will. Well.. I like matt colors, so i went with satin black and some zombie flat green for my love of old school horror! i always loved rat rods and have always wanted one, when i first saw my bike sitting at the hot rod blowout early this year, i knew i would have it. Funny, as i have never even been into motorcycles, or really looked twice, but this one, for some reason, caught my eye. I knew, for some reason, that this bike could do with my personal touch, and it would have that rat rod look, just inna smaller, two wheel form. After then i googled bikes, every day actually, i find some i really realy like, but alot just dont quite get me going. But i have found an appreciation for these two wheelers, and decieded the other weekend, riding over the cause-way, that there was something soothing about riding at that moment, even if i could smell the fumes, face full of dirt, numb hands, about to die, headache from the straight pipe, and bouncing everywhere. It was just cool. Anyway, since i bought this yamaha, i've grown to love these death traps, found more and more little mods i really like from this and that bike. And grease monkeys are a good bunch of dudes, even if some other (non-greasemonkeys) have put me off even owning a bike (or being alive or a human being) haha fuck yeah here she is when i first bought it, i didnt ride it for a week, i didnt even sit on it for 3 days. First bike i ever really rode. Except the time we ripped up the brand new million dollar field at massey rugby club. Sorry After a few weeks, i got some painting done END OF AN ERA Now its at a stage that i like... I had trouble finding a helmet that i could actually see out of, after being talked out of wearing my dads open face lid from the sixties with no padding what-so-ever, i searched everywhere and finally found the one for me Anywho im bored with the apes, i pulled them off, drove over them a couple of times to make them flat, and put the other bars si gave to me with the bike when he dropped it off along with the box of factory spares. Im sold on the new look now, i cant believe how it will actually go round corners with the new bars! Last night, took the awful switch boxes off the bars, new throttle on its way after i gave up on the original internal throttle deal (honda dealers can suck my dick). thanks to brett7777 i know this new one will work and fit! Got a neat couple of switches for the push button start and my high/low beam dip from super cheap auto and wired it all up, looks super clean up front now. My street loves me | |

| The bike looks killer with the new bar set up. Meaner somehow. Where did you get them?
Also, thinking about struts for my bike. What's the length of those struts on yours - centre to centre?
Cheers | |
