12:30 at the Belgium Beer Pub - Mission Bay.
Bikes if you're up for it but no pressure this time. Come on the bus if you have to.
Just a quick catch up to see who's who in the zoo and plan some events for sumer.

No worries. Trying to meet up at least monthly. Next time I want to do a shed raid as well. That one has to be on bikes though. No cars or bone stock bikes.

Thanks guys. Awesome turnout and cool to have a linup of the complete range of bikes in Mission Bay from the Vespa, to Jody's rigid Yam. I did take a lot of pics but typically, it pissed down hared on the way home and Sara's pocket filled with water and the camera has died. We're going to take the chip round to the Warehouse tomorrow and get the pictures pulled off that and I will post them (and start looking for a new camera).

It was a good time and great way to spend the arvo, getting soaked on the way home didn't even matter Smile I didn't have a camera to get wreaked though, sorry to hear about that.

Looking forward to the next one.

(p.s. it was a Lambretta not vespa that Kevin was on, vespa would be the poor cousin in his book)

I used to wotk on a lot of Lambretta's. You'd have thought I'd notice.
After a lot of pissding about, we just got the camera working. I'll start loading the pictures.

Ok so here it is (eventually)

I'd forgotten Damien's mate Kevin's name when I was editing the picture but Kevin was on the Lambretta.

Despite the fact that it had beren pissing down earlier in the morning we got quite a few bikes. Jody did well by turning up on the only home built bike. Next time expect more.

Nice food and beer so that kept us 'big guys' happy.

Kershaw was refusing to eat anything that looked like an octopus but he was well happy with the slow cooker andf sheep's neck the day before!

Rene and Jon both bought bubble visors from the El Boneshaker boys. Strangely they smelled like dog shit when they opened the packets. Must be how they're made.

Rene didn't seem to mind.

Man I was stoked with that visor on the way home,it absolutely pissed down once over the bridge so badly that the old indian got water into the distributor and stopped as soon as I got off the motorway in albany.I pulled into a bus stop and wiped the inside of the dizzy down and after about a dozen kicks it fired back into life, made it home and Lisa had the fire roaring so that just topped off a really great winters day. Thanks all for the pleasure of your company plenty of laughs as always, and only too happy to help Sara out with her job interview answers('Very Happy') Looking forward to catching up again !

P.S when ya do a job like mine dog shit smells, seems like perfume

Sara ran out of gas on the motorway in the rain (just went on reserve) and my goggles blew off trying to catch up to here after she got going again. Still was an excellent day.

I washed mine and left it outside the house, worked a treat... all good.

Apparently they are genuine old new stock... made in the US... cool...

We'll definitely do it again next month. Rene is also organising a shed raid later in the year as well so we can have a ride round and see what our guys and some other interesting people are building.

Good arvo. Pete the Neighbour and i enjoyed it. Could only stay a little while as had to get home to our new son. The reason I keep the Softail fairly stock is cos I have had it from new and ridden it quite a few places and it has a few memories. I know this site is for non-stock bikes so hopefully the IronHead will be sorted for the next meeting. If I can get it done between changing nappies.

Anyway, whose up for having a beer at the Cold Kiwi? Any of the wellington crew going?

Thank you everyone for a great afternoon: great company, good food and beer, some hilarious discussions, and a good trundle around on the bikes. Even if it did rain a little bit on the way home... Laughing

Glad to hear that everyone enjoyed it - looking forward to the next one!

P.S. Thank you for the offer of help with my interview questions, Rene - much appreciated lol!
