Mike to wide a hub for your narrow glide fr end what would fit would be a xl1200custom 21" front wheel but shit these are hard to find but I'll keep my eyes open.

hey. it would work with a mid glide front end . might be a cheaper option if you can find some trees.

No you can't lace it up to a sporty hub as the holes drilled in the wideglide rim are at the wrong angle I will check the width of a wide glide hub tomorrow, hmmm a wideglide hub narrowed down would look cool.

Yes fxlr's had a narrow glide hub and 21" rim same as the xl1200c apart from the later hubs having sealed bearings which come in three different sizes 3/4",1" and the latest hubs 25mm and pulled the bearings out of a late model hub the other and they are a diferent width to the 3/4 + 1".

look at the angle of the spoke's coming from the rim should be on an angle coming from the rim,who built the wheel jon checked 2 parts books different part# number for both rims I worked in a bicycle shop in a previous life and went on truckloads of wheel building course's god I have lost count of how many motorcycles + cycle wheels I ve built.
