Wanting to build iether a cafe or bobber once the bsa is finished for now looking at ideas for modding the vl250.
oh yea so i'm a boat builder by trade and whilst i'm not in NZ at the moment once i get back i can offer fiberglass services if required??

| Sounds good Rob. Get some pics up if you have them with you. When do you get back to NZ? Maybe we should start a London branch | |

| Welcome
Modding more modern bikes is my thing so I might have some ideas.
I think most of the guys here work on older bikes :oP | |

| Ok so back with piccys.... coz we all know if theres no pictures it didn't happen. first up is my c11 bought off a guy that was gonnar bobber it but didn't have the heart neither do I... it's a 52/53 plunger rear 250cc ohv single banger... currently the rear wheel is being rebuilt and should get finished once I get back from london. next up is my vl250 standard 2008 model that i want to do a little moding on... have to keep it on the road so nothing serious like a ridgid conversion but any suggestions?? and to answer other q's i'm planning on leaving the uk end of oct before it gets real cold and miserable!... still gotta make it to aces cafe tho and if people are after parts for british bikes and need help shipping from uk I will help any way I can.... infact theres a classic bike shop not more than 5 mins walk from where i'm living at the mo! And if you haven't yet gone to the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, you should go - I never got to go there, but Jon reckoned it was storming. It looks pretty good on their website: http://www.nationalmotorcyclemuseum.co.uk/Let us know what you reckon! | |

| The old national bike museum was way bigger but some bugger burned it down and they had to start collecting bikes again. Sammy Miller is my mates uncle. He used to ride trials bikes up in the lead mines where I was brought up. | |
