Hi
Before you ask the username came about because I bought an Ultraglide years ago (which I still own) with a load of "girlie" accessories on it - hence girlyglide and I've been using it as a forum name ever since.

I knew Irishjon when he had more hair and lived in darkest Trowbridge, Wiltshire, many, many years ago.

I've got three bikes on the build at the moment. A twincam rigid, a twincam softail and a little special being built out of other peoples cast offs - something that is a little easier to do when you have your own bike shop. The special I like to call Recycled 'cause that's what it is. It has a Sputhe 103" evo engine which I got for minimal px for a new S&S engine, a 19xx softail frame, and various other parts from the '90s to now. It will evolve rather than be built as time and parts allow.

Pete's bobber (another friend of Irishjons) can be seen on this site outside my shop - we finished off the wiring and final prep before he kicked it into life but apart from that it's all his work.

I've been building bikes, good, bad and indifferent for a longtime and I'm not sure what I really prefer but BAD sounds so good!

I was at a show recently and the stall next to me had "custom" Harleys for sale at about £30k but I couldn't see that much in them. You can build an excellent bike for a lot less - but I guess you all know that anyway!

Hey Phil. The shops looking good. Bit different from working in the shed at the back of your house all those years ago. If you can get 30 grand for a bike maybe I should come back. Is Pete working with you? Tell him I eventually got a Pan but its not rigid....yet!

Hi
Wiltshire is in the West of England, our shop is in a small village just outside the County Town of Trowbridge.

Here's a link to a few pictures of the Twincam chop:-

Hi Jon
The shop is small but perfectly formed, just like me Very Happy
I didn't say you could get £30k for a bike just that someone was asking £30k up for a bike lol!

Pete helps out with machining those special parts you can't get easily. I'll tell him about the pan, he's just got a '52 engine for his next project.
