PostSubject: Importing Bikes   Sun Sep 19, 2010 9:47 pm

Just had a question through from a UK based Kiwi who is getting ready to come home. He has a custom Sporty with an after market frame (swingarm) on the road in the UK. He wanted to know if he will need to get it certed.
Last time I brought bikes in they didn't even check them. Just signed them off so I could get plates.
Anyone got any experience of bringing in registered bikes?

Okay asked at work,he will need proof of ownership and rego proof and when it gets here a brake declaration so brake line"s better be D.O.T approved and then up to the testing station.
