| long time rider, fairly newbie to modifying my bikes (well).. last bike was a gsxr750 slabbie which i fighter'd out, if you were in new plymouth mid 2009 no doubt you would've heard/seen it. then regressed back to a GN250 which i had dreams of making a faux cafe out of, but had to sell it. fast forward to march this year and picked up a shitter GN for $100 and have just finished rebuilding it (stripped right back, repainted, reassembled with new bearings/tyres etc) and am now in the process of cafe'ing it. pics (no before pics but this is after stripping and painting frame and engine) most recent incarnation before certifying and currently and the name.. cheers guys :-) if anyone is in/around new plymouth i'm always keen for a catch up and beer, bike currently doesn't do more than 90km/h so big rides are out haha but i'll be at the show in hawera this weekend (labour weekend) | |

| cheers guys, its gonna stay pretty similar paintwise, clearcoated tank and the tail hump will be made from the back section of the original tank, as it had an inch of rust on the bottom of it. included some pics of the state of the fuel tap for a laugh. some of you guys from taranaki may know my brother, heres his triumph saint chopper for prosperity, 5 year project. steers like a super yacht at low speed but handles awesomely once up and moving cheers guys i'll put up a build thread over the weekend | |

| nah thats a pretty fair comment haha. i've only ever owned suzukis or hondas, and the suzukis tend to fare worse over time rust wise. although the frame on this was really good, and there was only surface rust on the chrome. | |
