Hi everybody,

I'm a young guy from central Auckland, nuts about bikes but no experience in custom stuff.
Thought joining up would be a good way to change that!
At the moment I ride an old '92 Suzuki Bandit, 250cc. I'm keen on doing a few little things to it but I'm gonna save the big stuff for when I can upgrade to an SR, XS or something similar.

Cheers! Keep the rubbery side down

Welcome on borad Guy. I'd still like to see you build a radical cafe racer out of the Bandit. There aren't any of those around.

Thanks!

The more I think about it the more appealing it becomes. I'm going to pop off my levers, rearsets and exhaust brackets to get powdercoated soon and I'm going to have a bash at a home-fabricated tail tidy as well. Also I'm thinking about drawing up some custom body panels for the back end and getting them made up out of ABS with new tail light, sort of boxy solo seat style like a Duc 750 F1.
I'm realising that half the fun is trying to do all of this as cheaply as possible!
