The rebel needs front indicators and there is bugger all places to mount them. I was hoping that one of you have done this before. My problem is that I need to mount the indicators some way, the best way I can think of is to mount them off the forks. I've seen some fork mounted indicator kits on trademeheir there 200 odd so I scraped that idea. So does anyone know where I can buy a mounting kit for cheap or some pliable metal to bend round the fork and mount the indicator that will still be tough enough to hold and indicator but easy to work with?

Cheers

I have my indicators mounted off my shoulders, a hand signal gets noticed before a tiny little orange circle.
Do you need to mount them for a WOF?

Bar end indicators?

Or if you're running a front fender, must be a way to install some into the fender?

I've always thought about hooking some LEDs under the tank and fenders, wired into the indicator system.

Narly!

my sporty is a daily rider too and i've got no indicators, been pulled over 4 times in the last few weeks and used hand signals, they havent even noticed. personally i think indicators are an eyesore but each to their own.

That's a nice headlight mounting bracket as well.
Brett. Why don't you just make a bracket to mount off the triple clamp below the headlight? I made a bracket for mine in about 10 minutes. I think i've run out of the thin flat bar but I'll have another look.

Sorry Montz. Don't know why I thought that was Brett. I get my bar from a little place on the North Shore. I'll dig out an old invoice from the shed and post the address. They're likely to be shut next week but they are cheap and I usually get a pile of metre long pieces of flat and round bar just to have for making up stuff in the shed.

I like the bike but I used to hate AWOL. Stuart Garland couldn't be botherd running the mag afterhe started it so he left it to Crazy Odge who built brilliant bikes but knew nothing about magazines. Ended up having everything done by the 16 year old office boy who kept putting in his mates bikes that were all pieces of crap. Mag died the death really quickly. BSH ended up with the same stories every month with boring rally people getting pissed in some field. Thankfully BHS is back on nform now and people are building excellent bikes again.
Just my taste though so I'm probably wrong santa rendeer

Hey bud I got 4 LED indicators for my wifes chop.Smaller than your thumb nail & are completely legal.I got the smallest I could find, cause I hate blinkers & because the bike will have to be certed & shes gotta have them. I got them from Red Baron in Lower Hutt & they have a store up there in Dorkland. They cost $80 for 2 & you can mount (screw) them anywhere.I would post some pics but they are wrapped up under the tree! santa
Hope this helps
