OK... I met with MOD today from Mod's Motors. He will promote Grinderfest in a future issue of Mod's Motor's.

I'll suggest he do it sooner rather than later so people still have time to enter.

Cheers

Update on Triumph saint project: Well its all stripped down;
[img][/img]

We machined up the rear axle plates;

Tunneled the F@*k out of a Tiger cub tank (with the appropriate safety jandals on....)

And this is where we are at now;

Hopefully hartail section will be completed this week! Will keep updating as we make progress.

Cheers, Matt

PS: Jon, any chance you can transfer these pics to grinderfest blog? or should I email the to ya?

Now going for a 48 Pan replica seat. I have to make up a t-bar to mount it and I'll use a mountain bike shock under that, something like Doug's bike but maybe a bit older looking. I like the way the fake seat post looks on my twin cam but I think I can make something a bit more interesting.
If you make it down this way youre welcome to come round and have a go at making a seat.

Here are the images Damien did for the poster and the black and white Flyer. You can either copy them from here or drop me your contact emails at irishjon@greasemonkeys.co.nz and I'll mail you a copy. Print a few off at work and get a few out there.

Cheers

I'm getting some shirts done. Cost to me is $26. Let me know if you want one at the same price or print your own if you can get a better price. I'll probably get some more done cheap (in China) if I can get a sponsor interested. I'll also get some stickers done for our bikes.

Just a bit more fab work on the coil tank and a bit of boxing around some of the mounts. Then Shaun's going to wire it yay.

good work Woody.
& great to hear it's gonna be wired soon.
am i right in thinkin that some of the wiring is goin thru the frame?

Yeah that's right Brett but just the hand controls and the head light, That's what those two holes are for around the steering head area Wink .

I'll donate a few pinstriping vouchers to go in the pot...each will be about the equivalent of a 2 colour job on a helmet.

If I get any more free stuff from Damien I'll have to rename the show Laughing
I have been offered a few free prizes but I need to prove that its all legit and we have enough people turing up. So far I'm more worried that too many people will turn up. I'm really excited about this now, Thanks for all the support guys.

Its looking like its gonna be a good turn out aye, nice work setting it up irish. Hoping to finish the rear section on frame tomorow so might have it rolling by the evening (fingers crossed!!) Will put up more pics when I can. Would be keen to catch up with some of the other people in the Auckland area who are in the grinderfest. Put names to faces, sink a few beers and tell some lies... I’d like to say hi, been watch'n this space on the quiet, feelin real bad... but no project has meant this Jon’s a bit quiet and the garage is empty! tools might even start rustin affraid

Even tried to score a SR500 off trade me last week just to do Grindfest but it went far too many $ to be a project...

Hanging in there though, something will pop up!

Cheers

Hey Jon. Hang in there. Everythings been a bit quiet round here lately but its dark early at night and everyone's heading back into their sheds.
Met up with a few guys over your way on Sunday. They're planning on having some rides on old school bikes. Could be good and the beer's cheap.
