xs hard tail turbo

Im not sure what you would call this type of bike, if you have a name for this style let me know, it started life as a 1979 xs250 a couple of years back it had the 400 engine fitted then i got hole of it and cut it in half, trying to figure out how to up load photos atm

well as you can see ive gone for a rat rode rustic style, by choice not just that there is no room in shed atm,
so the frame got cut remade wider to fit a 17x7 rear rim with a 200 tyre.
the turbo is a ct9 from a toyota starlet which only just spools due to the the long length headers engine size etc but im working on this have a couple of smaller turbos to try out smaller header diameter to keep flow up,
seat was hand beaten then found an old english wheel and rolled it out no springs just nolathan bushed underneith do the trick.
all still a work in progress been put off to one side while i was building a race bike cr500af motard will chuck some info up on it to here are some more pic

Good to see James. Them bars are a bit low, so i think you would call that a sports bike.

that looks awesome!!!! was there much dicking around to make the rear wheel fit other than the frame? I would like to do the same! can u use any old sports bike wheel?

turbo setup work well? wonder how much quicker it will be

yea a fair amount of muching around to get the wider wheel one the main one is to get the sprokets to line up, ive had to make a custome front sproket and then that got in the way of the clutch perch etc. it snow balled a bit.

turbo seems to work well havnt got it boosting eraly enough yet and havnt yetted carbes for it either, when i get back onto this project ill be looking at either moving the turbo toward or running a samller turbo.
