Gear? What to wear?

Im studying at massey and im now thinking about some gear to get for when my bikes done,

id rather not wear all my gear into classes so whats the easiest best looking gear? dont want anything in your face just plain blackish, leather?

take a backpack and throw it all in there? are boots really necessary? could tie helmet gloves n goggles too the bike i guess?

what do you guys wear or do?

what ya wear normally reflects how fast ya slid down the tarmac last time....I ll always wear boots, bike jacket, gloves and "proper"helmet....some dudes are so tuff they dont need to....

Im so tough i dont need much more than a shirt, jeans and some vans.

But daily commute is totally different ball game.

Helmet and gloves. When it's wet, waterproofs. When it's dry, whatever you normally wear. I have fallen off at all speeds and with no helmet. Leather isn't any better than plastic when you're sliding down the road and no material is going to help when you hit something solid going fast. Bugger all to do with age.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I wear full face helmet, boots, gloves, rev it jacket and pants when I ride to work but when I'm cruzing round town and maybe short stints in the hundy zone I can handle jeans, flannel and open face.

As a serious answer to the actual post look at the rev it stuff they got a good selection and they do broad styles from one piece racing leathers to tassel jackets and chaps

think ill just find something like revit jacket and pants then guess its a bit of trial and error to find what you like,

Pretty much...go to a bike shop try on their stuff to get sizing then there is heaps on tardme for cheaps. I reckon goog gloves and boots that arnt guna pull off ya feet in a crash are essential...but it just an opinion...

A one piece waterproof thingy keeps ya warm and dry..ish and usually folds up small to fit in .....get a bagger.ha ha

Some good sunglasses too if you're wearing an open face... otherwise feels like someones sand papered your eyeballs.

i once got caught out riding home on the motorway at about 1am with sunglasses on.

it was horrible.

i used to wear a open face then got hit in the face by a bird at 100(this does not tickle)so switched to a fullface i fuck'n hate it no pirif,pirifaral,fuck can't see sideways.sooo just scored a vintage motocross helmet if that don't work fuck the birds it will be back to the openface.other than that i wear what i wear every day steelcaps jeans and leatherjacket
