Posting Pictures on the Forum

Unfortunately as this is a free forum (cause I have no spare money) you are not able to post pictures directly from your computer. Don't worry though. It is possible to share your pictures and its not hard.

I am using Photobucket. This is a picture hosting site that lets you load all your pictures into albums and then copy links to those pictures into web pages.

Step 1: Set up a free account at http://photobucket.com/

Step 2: Upload your pictures. After you have set up your account you use the big Upload button in your albums page to select pictures from folders on your computer. You can select multiple pictures to upload at the same time so its much quicker.

Step 3: Copy the picture link. When you roll your mouse over a picture in the Photobucket album it will display a Share box. In that box there is a list of links that can be used for Email; Direct Link; HTML Code; and IMG Code. You want the IMG code. If you click into the address box for teh IMG Code it wil select everything in that box. Now you copy that address by holding down the CTRL key and the C key on you computer keyboard.

Step 4: Paste the link into your post on the Forum. go back to the Forum page and simply paste the IMG code into your post. Do this by holding down the CTRL and V keys on your keyboard. Make sure that the completed line starts and ends with the square brackets [ ]. Now select the Preview button at the botton of the Post screen to see how it will look.

I just click on the 'Host an image' box (ninth from the left along the top)
Click browse
Choose the photo I want from my computer & click open
Click host it (wait a few seconds)
Click on the middle line (Image:) which selects that line
Right click on that and click copy
Click Upload
Then right click on your post and click paste
Click the 'Host an image' box again to close the dialog box
