The QLD sun is too much to not be on 2 wheels! I'll get the pan sent over eventually but for now i grabbed a Shovel to keep me happy.

Shes a 77 titled as a 75 so it doesnt need indicators or muffler's or any of that crap we all hate.
its foot clutch and jockey shift (the only way to ride), rebuilt 80" motor, electronic ign, CV carb etc etc.
The dude did it in a Jack Daniels theme because he quit drinking for a year and when he felt like a drink he went for a ride instead.

anyway heres the pics

Fark shaun not sure about that seat, but the rest looks like it has good bones and will you be able to get the pan on the rd over there as it seems the aussies have some fucked up laws on what you can and cannot do and how is it going over there.

Hey mate, we are settling in alright, brought a house the other day so it looks like we will be here for a while. Here is Toowoomba by the way.
Found a bike shop here called Straight and Narrow Hogs, he has heaps or old stuff, lots of Pan and Shovel parts, the cool stuff you dont find in any shop in NZ, even a stack of the chrome teardrop tool boxes. he offered me a job there ha ha. if you or anyone else need the old parts let me know and I'll go see Butch

yeah the seats a bit funny, easy to change tho, especially as our dollar is 1 for 1 with the yank!

as for the Pan, the aussies are funny with anything post 76, anything earlier basicly has a big strike thru the compliance sheet! no indicators, no mufflers, just need good tyres and a horn!
the dude in the shop reckons he'll look after it. Thats why the guy got the shovel titled as a 75 even tho its 77.

Did a 220km maiden trip on the shovel yesterday, picked it up from tweed heads in NSW and rode it back to Toowoomba. Ran sweet, a few little things to to bring it up to my standards, little things like handle bar clamp bushes, bit of wiring to sort, but other than that it's all good

Hey mate, the sticker on the tank has already been taken off, I'll leave the derby cover on it, that seat is gone as soon as I find a replacement one.
Not a bad we score other than those things
