Retunnel and deseam fuel tank Empty
PostSubject: Retunnel and deseam fuel tank   Retunnel and deseam fuel tank EmptyWed May 16, 2012 10:33 pm

Need some advice about altering the tunnel and deseaming my tank and I hoped someone may have experience with doing this.
I want to hide all my electrics in the tunnel to achieve a clean and sparse look with the bike, the tank (Honda CM 200T) has massive beef curtainesque seams that I think spoil the lines. I suppose my questions are is it wise to do this as one job i.e cut the old tunnel out at the seams and weld the new one back in or should I cut off the beef curtains weld it back up and then do the tunnel? Keeping the profile of the tank is paramount.
Any advice or experience of the pitfalls would be greatly appreciated.
