Just trying to find ways to get rid of the the horrible stock HD switches and came across these. Any one running these or similar? Have an ON-OFF-ON switch and a hold down button on each block so could do light and horn on the left and signals and start on the right. Just need a run switch somewhere else.

Jon61 used something like that on his Sporty chop. You need to use a control module like W&W sell if you use micro switches. That gets rid of all the relays and controls the indicators as well. Pretty expensive but neat.

that toggle switch looks horrendous,
would be better with a matching button that latches on.....
if u know electronics at all u could make a micro controller for all of that,
i recently fitted a 'thunder heart' kit to a chopper for all of switching duties,
kit was to make it easier for D.I.Y americans
but what a mess it turned out to be, idea was good but far to complicated.....

These are the ones that we can do. The switch is half inch in size.

Hi jimbeam, you still looking at switches? Just found this post...

Hey Brett, the pic you posted are like the ones I used, unfortunately there are two types, expensive and affordable... I ran with the affordable, they worked ok and are waterproof but the buttons are finicky.
You do need the W&W power set up to run these buttons though...

your picture that is up first jimbeam, if you want some I have a raw Pr (Lh & Rh) available from USA with screws complete with blank top cover plate so you can run whatever combo buttons or switch you want..

Just PM me if you want to know anything..

Cheers

Cool

The one we sell is Mid USA part number 15150

These are the specs they give:

Great for the minimalist chopper builder that wants to keep necessities as simple as possible
Includes a radius shaped spacer that fits under the switch if used on a handlebar (remove if used on a flat surface)
Switch is threaded 5/16-24 (UNF) and has 26" lead wires
The button head portion of switch hosing measures .470" O.D. and is a mere 1/8" tall
Polished stainless steel
Requires relay to use as a starter button

Hope that helps

Posted somewhere on here a while ago asking anyone if they were running micro switches. Didn't get jack so dove in and made em myself. Got the on/off/on switch and momentary switch from jay car. Cost me about $9.50 to make.
Not as perty and perfect as the pic up top but hey, it works and looks good to me
I've since tapped the bar and used a grub screw to hold it in place
