Auckland's MOTAT transportation and technology museum is planning a Bike Month in February. Amber Regan is pulling that together for MOTAT and she has asked if I can find anyone interested in lending them some custom bikes for a short period in February. Details are still being sorted out but Amber has provided some possible dates. Here's her email:
So I am looking for a decent amount of custom Motorcycles to fill up an outdoor area at MOTAT (15- 60 bikes), Most likely the front court area near the entrance. The dates I have available are Saturday 9th and Sunday the 10th also Saturday the 16th of February. You are welcome to fill up one or two days
MOTAT Bike Month (February 2013) is a chance to celebrate the history of all things Cycle- including both Motorcycles and Bicycles. Here at MOTAT we are planning a series of cycle themed events that will run throughout the month, mostly on the weekends to educate and entertain our customers. We are currently looking for Bike and Motorcycle enthusiasts who are wanting to display their vehicles for a day over the Month. We will have a variety of different displays happening over the month, from Cycle powered cinema, to custom Motorcycle displays to a Pennyfarthing rider!
This is just a little description on what Bike Month is- If you need any other details to hand on to people just let me know.
Thanks so much Jon, will be great!
This should be another good opportunity to show people the sort of bikes they should be building and buying. If you are interested, let me know or contact Amber directly on Amber.Regan@motat.org.nz
