can anyone tell me if i can bolt up a set of sportster tripple clamps /forks
to b early shovel frame Question

or will i have to change something

They should bolt straight in as long as they are the early sportster. If they are evo type I am not sure

Your steering stops will be different and may need changing but other than that it should fit.

I have a 97 Evo Sportster front end bolted straight on to a 71 Shovel frame. No problems.
