| [img] so ithink i found the ugliest bike in the us and sent it over [img] [/img] but ireckon is grate 67 shovel has been sitting since 08 previous owner/s changed the frontend swingarm wheels and guards/tank its a shame but not the end of the world so after a few hours of unbolting all the unwanted crap ie indicators crash bar tassels etc and undoing years of butchery oil lines with 2-3 joins each running over the exhaust verry bad wiring with even more joins in it craply mounted oil filter and cooler and 5year old fuel in the tanks ....and carb witch had to be swaped out fired her up and sounds sweeeet i have no clue wats inside the engine but its got S&S 80" barrels havent ridden it yet as the tank needs some heavy cleaning first before fuel goes near it plan is to register it in the next few months then..............................chop the shit out of it [img][/img] [img][ /img] | |

| so after the strip down and a sit in the jig somethings just not quite right so i decided i need an engine fixture for alignment and to hold the frame in the jig... " /> " /> then sure enugh seems its had a hard life " /> this is the head set and should line up..... " /> now im deciding wat the best plan of attack is straighten as is or remake frame rails into a wishbone ... ive still got to finish up the engine fixture so iv a few more days to decide to be continued | |

| I love the casual use of thick alloy blocks.... I don't have a single jig that hasn't been made out of my scrap pile... nice, I wish
As for the frame, bit of heat and a tweak with a really big bar and its all good, but..... Lol

" /> not for long tho " /> " /> " /> " /> made up these little things to hold the axle plates as the rod on its own didnt hols them properly [img] [/img] and here we go mocked up ready for all the small fidley bits before paint etc...

| Perfect Mike nice job. I hope your going to run a set of Apes on that thing. Happy new year to ya. Hey by the way if you can track down a set of old Ford radius arms you could fix those rear legs on your springer. I've got a set of 1936 rears here. But I'm a bit reluctant to get rid of them at the moment. | |

| I'm another one for the drag bars... flat or lower just makes the look
Hey if your making your bars could you let us know where your sending the bars for cert crack testing, I cant find anyone local who can do em Found out cert requirements are tougher than those used for the transport industry lol f'n pc bullshit, how are we sposed to load up a handle bar or a brake pedal more than a tie down eye that is chain twitched down with a meter long bar....
Nice work on the frame, love tig welding.... shame I'm too scotish, Argon is too dear for me lol building up a list of things that need the tig so I can sneek in the brake pedal and bars for my scooter

| Thanks for that Im working on ways to legally cheat lol means things will need to be machined to bolt together its just how to do it and keep the look I want... but if all else fails I bite the bullet and pay for testing.... will depend on how much money left in the budget when I get up to those bits lol
I have a bit of a part time thing moding 4wd's etc so I want to keep things legal... it wouldnt be the look to get pulled up for outright cheating lol
