Hi there.
I've recently moved to NZ from Denmark. In Denmark a MC license is ridiculous expensive, so now I'm on the road here and have bought myself an 81' Suzuki GSX400, that I hope to turn into a nice cafe racer... eventually...
So my first question is where are the good shops to get some cafe racer parts, I don't seem to find much info when searching google, other that shops from the US....
Cheers,
Rass

Hi Rass
Welcome to NZ. Problem with being at the good end of the world is that we tend to have to go off shore in order to buy anything. That's why we end up making a lot of parts ourselves. Lots of people on here who would be happy to help. There's a place somewhere down in Otago that makes fibre glass tanks and seats. You can find them on Trademe. Clip-ons and rearsets ar pretty easy to find and a grinder will reshape most stock mudguards to fit a cafe racer shape. Stick some pics up and let us know what you want to do with teh bike to make it yours.

You can try these guys too: http://www.nzstreetfighters.com/
As Irishjon says, probably your best bet is to look in www.trademe.co.nz - there's usually a bunch of cafe style seats and the usual clip-on bars and stuff which is a good start for any cafe project.

Welcome to NZ!
