Buying a bike in NZ Empty
PostSubject: Buying a bike in NZ   Buying a bike in NZ EmptySun Sep 07, 2014 6:16 am

As i told you i'm moving to swanson end of december and shipping my bike. i thought about leaving my bike in Germany and buying a new one in NZ. BUT fucking hell the trademe site is really depressive. - i found 2 Honda cb 750 for around 7000-10.000 bucks. BSA are really expensive, -either the cost are around 20.000 (not in my budget) or the engine is loosing too much oil because of its paper sealing.

Is there a market place (you know not the typical motorcycle brand Shops) i mean classic Events where you can buy a rusty bucket with a nearly good engine?

cheers.

Unfortunately Trademe is where most people sell their stuff. The majority of old Brit bikes seem to be in Canterbury and they tend to hold their price. There are usually a few old Jap bikes around at reasonable priceses but you need to be talking directly to people to pick up old half finished projects.
