Hi Guys,

I'm Rhys, in Auckland..

Not got the bike quite yet, still doing the shopping around for the project... Currently looking at cafefying a  sporty, although that can change depending on the day and what trade me has to offer...

Only been in NZ for a few months, beginning to get the DT's after selling the old bikes... Need to get off this four wheeled jobbie that's been taking me places...

Looking forward to getting out there and getting elbow deep in grease and frustration!

Welcome aboard Rhys. Haven't seen a decent cafe sporty around here so that would be a good project. Should be a load of sporty's available on Trademe so make sure you post some pics when you get the bike.

Cheers, Irishjohn, you'll probably catch me in helensville tinkering about...
Tell me, at what point do you need to start re-licencing and needing engineers inspections and whatnot??

Depends on what you are changing. If its a ground up build it's better to get a cert guy involved early on. Especially if you modify or buy a new frame.
