| I was thinking about the various shows that are on throughout the year and how we could do with some more. There's a hell of a lot of organising and expense involved so I was looking around for something a bit easier to start with. See See Motorcycle Coffee in Austin Texas run a show called 21 Helmets, where they invite creative people to paint a helmet each in whatever style they like and then exhibit them in a show. They have been running for a while now and have been very popular. They started with people providing their own helmets, usable or not, and now have got sponsorship from Bell helmets, who provide helmets from their vintage range. Obviously we're not in a position to provide free hats but I'm going to organise a show in Salt Lake Cycles to be held in a month or so and invite as many budding artists we can get to enter. I'll provide some prizes and if nothing else, we can get a few people together to hang out, create something and have a good time. I'll start to advertise for entrants outside of this forum but let me know if you are interested in putting in an entry or just coming out for the show. http://selvedgeyard.com/2014/04/08/21-helmets-show-on-display-at-the-2014-moto-gp-this-weekend-in-austin-texas/ | |

| Fantastic idea … I normally draw with a crayon held by a Neanderthal grip, but for shits and giggles, I’ll give it a crack. | |
