Foam.. Calling all fridgeys

So, looking to start the mold for my new seat... Don't have the kit or skill to use wood, so looks like rigid foam is the best option...

Don't suppose there's anyone out there that has some foam that would be suitable for sculpting a seat mold out of? (I'm told the better type is blue refrigeration foam, but so long as it's not polystyrene it should probably work)

I've used that 2pack PU foam before works well.

Fair enough, cast a rough mold and then carve in to the desired shape?

Yep. Made a load of race bike seats like that back in the day
