Hi All, I'm Graham Empty
PostSubject: Hi All, I'm Graham    Hi All, I'm Graham EmptyFri Mar 20, 2015 10:49 am

I'm from Auckland, Glen Eden glad that I've found people who have the same interests as myself.
So I'm a first time builder and have already started on my project.

I purchased a little Suzuki Intruder 250 off trade me ( to my wife's disgust) hahaha.
I'll post some pictures of my build before and after, I think in another month I'll be happy with it

I love the bobber style and the rumble sound of a motorcycle engine, I was lucky that the motorcycle was already lowered & solid rear struts.

I'm pretty much stripping/cutting away the factory components and trying to make it minimal as I can get it.

I don't know much about motorcycles/builds and have been picking up bits and pieces off youtube.
But I think its great that I've joined your community of Grease Monkeys, looking forward to communicating more with you guys.

Cheers Graham

Hi Graham

Welcome aboard, you have come to the right place as we are all bike nuts... some a little more nuts than others Very Happy
We are building momentum with the club and have more and more active members by the week.
We are fortunate enough to have a good mixture of people and we get together for the occasional ride, but meet once a month at Salt Lake Cycles workshop in Helensville - Mill Road.

We are building a club bike from a 70's Harley and are still in the design stages, next meeting is on the 12th of April, feel free to come along and introduce yourself and by all means offer some thoughts on the project club bike.

A build thread is always welcome, as we share a passion for bikes, we are always interested in what members are building in their garage, carport or lounge etc.

Once again, welcome aboard.

Regards

Coops
