Hi Guys,

I'm new to the site and just posting my before pre-bobber pictures so you can see my progress.
I know stuff all about builds or and engines and what have learnt has been off youtube ... don't judge me  lol!.

But I'm willing to give it crack and have some fun, so far thats what I've been having and loving it!

Bought a 2006 Suzuki Intruder 250 off trademe

So far

I've fabricated a pan seat and just waiting on the springs/brace so I can install it.
This weekend will start sanding as I want to get it painted a mix of Matt Black/Satin Black

So I'll keep you updated, hopefully within a month or so I'll have it to my liking.

Cheers!

Looking good, and I like your colour choices... black on black always works well.
No one is here to judge you regarding your level of knowledge, we were all or still are in the same boat.
We have some very clever people amongst us, so if you get stuck feel free to ask for help.

Keep up the good work.

Coops

Also, its good to have some smaller cc bikes amongst us too .. its not always about big grunty machines...
here's a pic of a bobber I did from a GN 250, was a fun bike.. but at over 100kegs I found it a little (ok a lot) underpowered for me Very Happy

Hi All,

Thought I'd share some updated photos on the bobber build.
Did some painting on the weekend and fabricated the pan seat, I like the rugged rusty look of it and don't think I'll cover it, as for the screws I can't feel a thing, mind you I haven't taken it out for a long ride yet.
Did the best hori job I could on the white wall rear tyre, just wanted to see what it looked like  Smile
Removed the exhaust baffel, however could'nt find anyone over the weekend with a TIG and also could'nt make up new pipes, so I just wrapped them, still sounds great!
I just need to fabricate a cover for the battery and underneath the seat toolbox and I reakon some handle bars, I'm still having fun working on this project and lovin it!

Looking forward to meeting some of you on the next meetup in April... Stay True!
