| checked out a few bikes ,all sportsers, but i should really bite the bullet and get a bike to finally get my licence after 20 odd years,i dont know if its old age or i can afford to buy expensive toys now.but i have a little voice in my head NOT THE one saying EAT THE COOKIES lol but the another one saying get a licence,i just cant see myself on a 250,i had one in the 90s its was terrifing had it tapped out were ever i went

| If you buy a bike from a shop they will quite often lend ya a 250 to do ya licence on, Anza was going to lend me one when i got my Buell, I had my restricted and brought an XB12R | |

| when i got my learners I got an xv250, the 250 felt too small, so then I got a 700 Intruder, but got bored with that & I remember when I was on the restricted I had an ironhead. I went to one of those dealers on Barry's Point Road & gave them a tray of beer to use a gn250 for my practical test. i personally felt that 250's didnt have enough power to really function properly in traffic, so in my mind I felt it was more sensible to ride something bigger than a 250. like you, I had been riding for years without a license, before that. | |
