Watch out for the next issue of MOD's motors.

I've had a sneak preview and there's a promo in it for Grinderfest. MOD reckons his e-zine reach 360,000 readers, so if nothing else, more people will be exposed to the type of stuff that interests us... hopefully that's a good thing.

[And by the way, I didn't ask him to promo my bike as this month's Reader's Ride - seriously, I really didn't!!]

Nice one Eel. Cheers. I need to start pushing it out a bit now. Getting close.

Started to put this one back together at the weekend. Played aqround with spacers for the front wheel last night but I need some bigger diameter bar to make a stepped spacer for the brake caliper. Also need to make a spacer for the rear chain sprocket on the gearbox. Should have it all ready in time.
Flat ouit week in work so I'll have to start pushing up the publicity level for Grinderfest next week and starting to confirm that people are actually going to show up with bikes or I'm going to look pretty lonely in September.

Plastered your flyer on a few common websites that I'm sure alot of Kiwi's and members here visit.
If it gets a few bites from interested people, all the better.

hey Te Meera, shed5 is at Wellesley St in Auckland city.
i think the show runs for a week, Irish will confirm

Managed to catch uP with Doug at Shed 5 and he is lending me a project manager to sort out the publicity and organization so I'll catch up with her this week. All starting to come together. Everybody welcome.

Ok so we now have the final date for the show.
Grinderfest will take place on September 10th 2011 at the
Shed 5 Speed Shop
90 Wellesley St.
Auckland

Judging will start at 2pm but the bikes can be set up a few days before. Final details on that in the next few weeks.

So, get those spanners swinging and get those projects finished. Lets have those update pictures and confirmations to let us know how much space to clear. Finished or not, lets see those bike.

Now's probably a good time to work out just how many of the Wellington crew are going to need some sort of transportation for there Bikes.
So let us know will ya's, And we'll work something out.

I have a ute and towbar.I have hired an enclosed trailer reasonably cheap from that auto stop in johnsonville woody

That would be safer than the trailer I can get.

How many Bikes would we get in one of those trailers Doug ?

I'd be keen for my bike to have a trailer ride if there's room... happy to take my car too if we need people transport. Would we go up on the Friday (9th)?

I've only had two in it, but depending on size I can get two on the ute.

Very cool. Thanks guys. I was starting to panic but I talked to a lot of people at the weekend and we should get some cool stuff in there to get peopple interested. Should be a party.

Hi Ben. Certainly you can bring your SR. I'd like to get all the local boys to bring their stuff in as I'm not sure how many of teh original entries are actually going to make it. There's probably going to be a crowd riding i from my place.
