| I sold the hardtail Sportster it was to do two things, I had done about 10,0000 ks in 18 months and it wasn't good for it as I designed it for around town and short rides, 100km or so... so I now have a bike I can put the Mrs on and scoot off with my mates and that leaves me wanting another bobber, a better one, this previous build has streamlined and given new thought... I was going to look for a big block but this won't be my everyday ride, so all good. so hey, if you wouldn't mind... I’m looking for an early or pre 1970's Sportster or triumph 650 1963-71 in any condition! Complete or bits, mainly frame and motor... anything else is bonus... I just missed out on a Sportster (complete in bits) for a grand...dam, gota be quick! If you hear of something, would be appreciated if you would give me a heads up... will collect from anywhere in NI | |

| hi ya woody, a triumph speedmaster with fruit (thunderbike pipes etc), goes great and the Mrs likes it (that is important) any way.. look'n for that project now.. hey woody, did you notice that triumph had a range called pre units then they saw the light and joined the gearbox to the motor in about 1963 for the 650, 1957 harley did that with the sportster...but only did it to the best of the range... that rocks... hahah | |
