| I know, its hardly nek min it,,,but good things take time... Mike and Dave now have my shovel cases and a nice crank and rod set to install,,,haveaquired an open primary set,,, now searching for a pan barrel and head and a shovel head only,,,think I might make this one a pan shovel. | |

| Well I know the title of this feed is Shovelhead till Im dead BUT,,, I have just scored a nice Pan head, so the decision is made....this bike will have one PANHEAD and one SHOVELHEAD. | |

| I will be interested to see how you do this as the pan and shovel have completely different inlet manifold setups and yes I know indian larry did it(I've seen the bike) but he used s.t.d or s+s heads which have the shovel inlet setup. | |

| The panhead manifold is 90 deg coming out of the head and the shovel is 45 degrees be a f**king weird looking manifold and the fuel would probably favour the shovel cylinder.Think of it this way the pan manifold is a T shape and the shovel a Y shape. | |

| To easy eh Slay,,,yes one out each side,,,,CVS so they are easy to balance. Twin cable, and easy to make reduction pipes. For inlet. Will run smaller main jets and play with needle hieght to get a nice color on the plugs,,, or near enough. Not too worried if it limps at idle,,,,kind of like that... | |

| So after some nagging from a mate to put up some updated photos,,, I get around to it today....just sticking some tags on the frame and thinking again about the manifolds ,,,,then there is wiring routing. Made a decision on the seat,, its away getting covered now. I have decided to take the tins back to bare brushed metal and clear coat it like the truck,,,on the black powder coated frame should look nice...Still toying with a suicide shift as well. Just built a top engine mount today.. PS,,, those silly mirrors are gone.. | |

| The manifolds look a lot easier than I had imagined. One forward facing and one rear facing Shoud be easy as to make. If that's the road your going down Klink ? Should make for an interesting looking motor. Shame you got rid of those mirrors Brett loves that sort of shit.. | |
