| Hi Guys, Girls
New to this forum. I own 82 iron head and a 2004 evo sporty. Have own for just over a year now and though it's time to start changing things.
So anyone know where I can get a wheel laced and what is better for general paint on frame, covers etc. HPC or Powder coating.
Thanks

| Hey Sporty, welcome to Grease Monkeys. I'll have to dig out teh name but I have had wheels built buy a guy down in South Auckland. Maybe somebody else will remember the name first. Powder is cheaper than HPC and I get frames back from the coaters in Central Park, West Auckland in 2 days. HPC is great though and my preference for pipes. | |

Thanks Yup take them to the Chrome platers and get them stripped. Do that before welding them too mate. Welding surfaces should be cleaned back to bare metal. By the way welcome aboard. Good to have ya here. | |
