Gidday
Im am looking around for a cheapy starter project. I want to try struts for looks and to see if Im hard enough for a hardtail.
Has anyone run into problems for struts on shaft drive bikes? I wouldnt think so but I have only had 1 coffee and that doesnt count. I figure changing uni joint angles too much is a bad thing from car experience. I dont want to get shafted while Im riding.
Cheers all.

I have a XV750 monoshock shaft drive that i have put a solid bar into and it doesn't have any probs with the driveshat joints and I've been riding it like that for 6 years.

6 years is a fair while for it to show if it wasnt happy, cheers.
I know it seems like a weird problem to imagine but spannering and crewing on cars for years produced more than a few 'why the f^&k did that break' moments.
And usually 'why did the *&^% break now!'

Dorkland, I updated my profile.
Might be onto a jappa to chop up. See how the auction goes this week.
Ridden a couple of bikes this week, good to be on the road again even for quick rides.
