CX500 engine WTB

Hi all, I am currently in the process of building up a CX500 as a cafe racer.
The engine I had got with the bike is in pieces, and missing some parts.
Does anyone have, or know of anyone who has a complete engine they are willing to part with?
I am also open to trading or selling off some of the parts of the engine I currently have.

Hey mate I'm in Tauranga and have just completed a CX500 build. I have a spare GL500 engine not complete but close, also in parts but may have what you need?

Cool, sounds promising...
What I am missing is cam chain, gear on end of camshaft, cam chain tensioners etc, and all that sort of stuff. As well as pistons and conrods from what I can tell so far that I am missing.
Bores are also in pretty rank condition but if I have no other choice I'll salvage them.
What bits do you have?

most of it is intact one of the piston covers is missing and the rear end is in pieces I have seen the tensioners and I think the cam chain in the box of parts but yeah havnt been fully through it. Where are you located? Im heading up to auckland next week could bring the lot up and you could take a look through?
