Steve here from Auckland

Hi guys,

I have a couple of projects on the go (will start some build threads soon) a '79 BMW R75 and a '79 Sportster.

BMW is getting the love at the mo, should hopefully be wrapped up by the end of winter.

The Ironhead will be next, which i'll definitely need to rack the brains of a few of veterans on here, its a real pig. Bent swing arm, dodgy welds on the frame, butchered electrics, off the road for 8 or so years. Looking at a Paughco frame from the states for this one, unless i can find somebody in auckland who can do a nice hard tail job. A job for later anywho.

Hey Jon, Just a tickle up really. Shortened the rear end and lowered all round, binned all the electronics and rewired with Motogadget gear, wide tracker bars and will do a high mount exhaust. Will start a build thread. You might be the man to help steer me in the right direction with my Ironhead - do you know of any gurus in Auckland that you would recommend for and engine recondition?

Moose probably but not sure where he's working now. I'll find out. I can walk you through it if you want to do it yourself.

Thanks Jon, Yeah I should really do it myself, if i did i would definately take you up on your offer. Would be good to know where this 'Moose' is residing anyway - just to get an opinion on the state of it anyway.

Moose is at Ktl in Saturn place off constellation drive.
