Sportster project for someone?

2000 sportster with a welded on hardtail. Certed and rego will be updated as soon as I put it in my name. I swapped it for another bike and got tucked. It's rougher than I hoped and it feels like first gear dogs must be rounded as occasionally it jumps in first gear.
Someone with more time and patience might like it. Would part trade on another harley.
