I am looking forward to becoming more educated from this forum, from what I have seen it has a lot of cool shit going on.
I have just recently bought my first bike and just got my learners so I am new to it all at 31 years old. I decided that while on restricted licenses for about two years I would forget about pursuing my dream bike ( Harley FXR ) and have ago at a cafe racer I could legally ride so I bought a Yamaha SR400. I am going to ride it through the summer and then put the rego on hold through the wetter seasons and then start my build.

Welcome to the forum, sounds like you have a good plan… ride it for summer then work on it while the rain is out… by riding it first and getting to know your bike, it might make it a bit easier to choose the style that will suit it best… There is Café Racer, and then there’s Café Racer, which is just one of the great things about building your own bike… it’s all about what you like.
