I’m definitely going... taking a day off work especially for it.
I’m desperately trying to get my café racer finished … but alas, after an electrical issue, then a battery problem... now I have a running rough and backfiring problem... ahhhhh got to love old bikes!

Excellent Scotty. Didn't think you were going to bother. I'm pushing to finish that Flyrite after 5 years. Good motivation

The first of many meet up and rides took place on Sunday with a encouraging 5 of the Auckland crew meeting up and riding to the Caffeine and Classics show at Smales Farm - Northshore.
The five of us, all different in our own way came together seamlessly like the smooth curve of a freshly painted gas tank... Personally, although the day was over what felt way too soon, I had a great time and enjoyed the company.

Apologies for letting the team down, rolling up on my pretty much stock bike .. Had to laugh when I read the back of IrishJon's shirt .. "Stock bikes suck", more motivation to try and finish the Cafe Racer.

IrishJon, Scotty, David and Keith great to meet you and/or see you again, and look forward to our next catch up.

IrishJon will be posting the date for the next catch up.. likely to be at the Salt Lake Cycles workshop in the next few weeks.

Guys, I know this is late notice.. but the Caffeine and Classics show is on tomorrow, it's the 2nd anniversary show so possibly a big one?

The weather is showers in the morning between 7 and 8am, then clearing from 9am to 5pm... if anyone is going, or wanting to go, throw up a reply and even with late notice we'll see if we can get a few together to gate crash again.

I’m sure I can say this on behalf of the Auckland Crew, wishing you and your Family a successful transition to the life style of warm sand between your toes.
