| Howdy chaps, Almost finished my ls400. Strangely enough for one of the lamest bikes ever developed its actually quite fun to ride, especially around town. Pretty average pic taken with cameraphone but you get the idea. Cheers | |

| 2 inch pipe gives it a pretty throaty sound. made a shark fin baffle for it which tempers it a bit...... might need a temporary fix for the wof. | |

| Took some better pics with a proper camera. It was a fun cheap project. The only real expense was the hotrod tail-light and heat wrap. What did I do? Lengthened forks, changed bars, fork gaiters, struts made out of hex bar, guards made out of checkerplate, modified pipe, led indicators, cut down original seat and recovered, got rid of airbox and put on pod, rejetted mainjet, put on shiney horn... thats pretty much it. I wanted a cheapy bike to scoot around Wellington on that I wouldnt be super gutted about if it got pinched. Got made redundant just before it was finished, so I'm back in the country....and its way too slow for country roads. Cheers | |
