bike not running for g fest, help?

My sr isnt running.
It was.
It now is not.(i left i for about 10days un-started and its got no more love for me)
I have spark, and fuel, and its being stubborn. Not even barking up a little.
I have drained the fuel bowl, i dont touch the throttle when i start it, i kick with choke fully on.
The lights flicker when i kick it over so they wirings still all good. Its got a brand new loom.
I run a battery-less system, is it ok to hook up a battery(does it need to be a bike battery) to kick it over with incase its a weak charging system so it doesnt like sitting long? Is that plausable?
Any other tricks to try?
Im running out of days, i need it running by friday.
I was going to take it to a mechanic to help me but i couldnt get hold of a pick up to take it on.

Any tricks/advice or a hand would be appreciatted.

Bugger, have you tried starting it with engine start down the carb? does it run a points or electronic ing system? is the plug sparking cleanly, ie not sparking from porceline? shouldnt be a major to get it running, if you have some spark,air and fuel it should run or atleast splutter. Id try the basics first dude, new plug and fresh gas, if still no good try a bit of engine start down the carb. If you need a hand sing out.

Yeah man i have used a bunch of engine start without a blurb or splutter from it, its got fresh petrol and a fresh plug, i honestly dont even know if its point or electronic ignition to be straight.
we have re set the cam timing but not the ignition timing nor checked it, as when we did cam timing, first kick everytime since then and only two kicks when its cold until now.
what exactly do you mean not sparking from porceline?
i know it hurts when it zaps you hahaha

it should have a clean blue spark from the tip of the electrode, if the spark if weak itll be orange or if if you look down onto where the electrode is it shouldnt be sparking from around the porceline under the electrode.Did it do anything even slightly odd when you shut it down last time?

check that it isn't just really flooded.

they fllood real easy. You need to give it a few prime kicks with the decompressor in and then set it just after tdc and then kick it but don't touch the throttle. Having said that, mine won't start since I got it back from a mate and none of my bikes would start this morning

Sheesh, ok, so today, cleaned up the plug, pulled carb down, checked it all. got this fellow up the road c.a.m.s to check it over and he gave it a bit of a tune up for me. we put the original jet back in, he notified me of a bigtime air leak, its running rich as hell, even with facory jet, the diafram is leaking/seeping fuel so i need a new one.

but hey, its running. meanest!

just fouls the plug up after a while

now all i need is a throttle and were away!
