Auckland Crew - Beer and Mussels Run

Dry and sunny outside and time to organise a few get together runs for the Summer.
It's been a long time since we did this one but we are planning a ride to the Belgian Beer Cafe in Mission Bay on Sunday 8th December. That should give you all time to get something on the road.
We had a good turnout last time and it would be great to catch up with all the new guys and see what everyone has been building over the winter. How does 1:30 on the 8th sound?

Sunday looked a bit dodgy but a few of us managed to make it in between showers. That was me, Rene, Jon and David.
Bit of excitement when we were sitting quitely having a beer and a couple of dumb pricks in a Chorus van reversed over Jon's Ironhead chop. Spilled my beer jumping up with Rene to stop the bike falling over completely. Just shows how much calmer you get as you get older. Nobody got punched and they offered to pay for the cracked tail light and bought me a new beer. Wasn't very impressed though when the passenger said "its all right. We just didn't see it". He also mentioned that his friends had bikes, as if that made it ok. I don't suppose any of their bikes were hand made.
Rene had just picked up the very cool little Harley WLA bobber. I was so used to seeing him with Indians I automatically thought it was a Chief. So much for my Harley knowledge. At least I can take the piss out of him for selling out.

Yeah same deal here, Had some old geezer back his car onto one of me bikes pushed it back onto a 45 degree angle just lucky as he drove off the belt drive must of caught under his plastic bumper and pulled the bike back onto its stand.
No damage to the bike at all.
Half the trouble with our type of bike is that there so low that even if the blind old prick did look out his back window he wouldn't of seen the bike anywho.
Fuck it I just park on the footpath now a tickets normally cheaper than the repair.  

Its now officially pissed head driving season    so you don't even have to be parked to get hit by some prick. Take it easy out there.
