Beautiful day here in Wellywood so got out in the open air and put the covered seat on. Just need to get some baffles in the exhaust, tune up and she's ready for compliance...

I made the pan and a guy I met a coupla weeks ago did the tuck and roll in black leather. He lives about 2 mins away from my place. He and his missus make clothing and he also does upholstery. He's restoring a mean looking old Valiant Charger and has "tucked and rolled" all the seats himself. I stopped and had a yarn to him while he was working under his car... next thing I know he's done my seat. cheers

As you suggested Doug - looking like electrical = points/ignition timing issue. Still not sorted but trying to work backwards and eliminate the obvious... scratch

Hey Kong - happening on Monday. Have kept in touch with Jerry at VTNZ along the way, so hopefully not too many issues (fingers crossed!) Cheers.

Brett you're in the wrong industry. You should do live stand-up comedy (like Jerry). Then we could throw things at ya.

Well Eel, it just so happens, that one of my two jobs involves quite a bit of stand up comedy, so you are right on there bud. But people love me TOO MUCH BABY to throw things at me I love you

actually, I do have a few enemies, but that's only cos they haven't realized what a nice fella I am cheers

vicar? yeah im not really one of those robe wearing types, more jeans wearing, loud rock music playing, jumping around, tongues speaking etc (I believe in having fun in church, otherwise what's the point of being there?)
I grew up in an Anglican environment, (my father is a vicar) but I became more of a wild pentecostal

hey Eel back to your bike, I really like it. The seat, tail light, & that whole setup is so cool. hope u dont have too many complications with gettin cert

Hey Brett... sounds like an interesting upbringing.

Re the cert. Yeah, got it today after a few minor tweaks... so the bike's back in the system, warranted and rego'd - all from VTNZ. "I gotta ticket to ride!" cheers cheers
Have to say Jerry from VTNZ (Adelaide Road Wellington) was very helpful. I kept him up to speed with what I've been doing along the way which made the compliance much easier when the time came.
