| my 8 year old little bro come over tonight sat on my bike play with the throttle for god knows how long.... I fired up my bike afterwords, first only running on one cylinder, pulled the plugs out, black as shit, got the plugs sorted, runs on two now. then idle not quite right, sounds running lean and starts backfiring through the carb really bad, sparkles in carb then just cut off. I don't know what else my bro been play with... need some troubleshooting directions !! too much fuel ? | |

| Yeah bro sounds flooded, clean the plugs and chuck them back in, might run a bit rough for a bit then should clear, if not try new plugs, you can kill plugs by running them in a flooded engine especially if they are old. also let the old girl get right up to temp before reving it | |

| I only know from my cars, i started my wagon for first time in 6 months, after pumping the fuel (out of a weber which is heaps) for about 30 minutes it finally started, only running on one rotor, back firing like fuck anyway after it warmed up and a few laps of the block it cleared itself up, i guess tis the same thing with your bike. clean plugs, maybe turnover a bunch of times with plugs out of it to push all the excess fuel out, then roll it round your street for a while | |

| Yep. Twisting the throttle makes the carb pump fuel in. Doesn't take much to flood. That's why I growl people for playing with the throttle when my bike is parked. | |
