| I was having another viewing session again, I really like that green with the lace, nice job, especially if u did that with rattle cans. hey I just noticed it has 2 tail lights... (I had seen both separately but somehow not put together in my mind that they were both there...). Are you planning to keep both on there or take one off later? Is the round one gonna change to a Caddy lite? I had heard somewhere that with compliance that if there's more than one they have to be symmetrical? dunno if that'd be the case tho, there seem to be many grey areas with certing, and variations from inspector to inspector - thought I'd mention it anyways | |

| That's not too bad in the scheme of things though, eh? Do you have to pay again or does the cert guy just tick those two things off his list after a quick inspection. No issues with side mount plate? | |

| side mount plates are legal. yeah they are a bit fussy about how far forward u put the lights. and yeah, seems pretty good result overall...

| Cool, That's an easy fix mate. Remember they have to find something wrong it makes them feel better about there miserable job, So just nod and agree then take it back for the recheck and you'll be good to go. The last thing you want to do is get there backs up, Then life becomes real difficult. | |

| I thought those pipes would be to loud the test is,metre back, metre to the side and 350mm of the ground and outside not in a big tin shed. | |

| yep, just one payment on completion, and will sort it next week. for current certs, modified frame... 95 reg it still needs to meet current specs the pipes arnt that loud coz there are some good baffles in there but it is supposed to be : 50% of running speed RPM and less than 100Db so if a sporty is 6000rpm its taken at 3000rpm. guards are to be at least 1/3 of the tyre circumfrence indicator and tail lights must be "E" marked, reflectors must be "E" marked or "STANLEY" or similar headlighs must be marked "DOT" or similar numberplate must be seen at 45 agle as is tail light.. i diddnt ask too far on that as i have a centre light and my other is to illuminate that plate. handle bars no wider than 1m and if have welds need x-ray (at a cost) braded brake hose must be aproved type, with compliance band with number. anyway, more later. cheers | |

| i recon that the cost of the cert its self, the cost of the exst sound check, the cost of wof, the cost of the new 12mth rego and a few little things to achieve the cert that you wouldnt normally need... to be legal on the road for the next 12 months, comes to over $1200.00 add another $150 if you have welded bars.. you would have thought that because the cert had to include all the wof things to achieve that they would have given me a wof anyway, but no, and that the cert check had to be 2010 standards that the wof would have been like a 2010 machine and have 12 month checks not 6 mth.. NOT! at lease from now its wof & reg only!?? | |
