Hey not so fast there Doug, There's that prospect deal for at least two years now (remember we talked about it at the last meeting )
But seriously we would be more than happy to have ya on board Irish. And that deals still open if you want to store one of ya bikes at home so you have something to ride while your down here.

couple of questions: I've seen some belts that got munted by stones catching in the sprocket.
does having a belt guard help, or is it pretty irrelevant?

ran 3000km with no belt guard, nothing on bottom and noticed no more stones than when it had both on... when i took the guard off pried out 3 stones that had pushed through from the inside and the belt worked untill i changed to chain drive and the belt now hangs in the shed, (Gates) yeah baby!

Paul managed to kick my Pan over and get it running yesterday at Kumeu so I am spending today making sure the timing is set up properly. I'll probably bring that bike down to Wellington. I'll post the pics from this weekend tonight. I had a great time and thanks to everyone that turned up.

I rest the timing on this thing today but apart from one fart its still refusing to start for me. I should have had the two beers first like Paul. Maybe tomorrow after work.
It was funny watching the HOG people ignore the three classic Harleys and stop to look at the shiny Sporty. Nobody wanted to buy it though. Sara had a stack of old guys asking her about her Triumph (Kawasaki W650).

Shaun freaked everyone out by driving out past all the stands with two Panheads on the trailer. Looked like a very happy swap meet customer. Sara followed him on the W650 and Andy on my SR cafe racer. I led Paul off to get lost in the other direction.

I was talking to Shaun and Paul about a weekend run to Taupo. Shaun can arrange cheap accommodation for us all so its a good chance to get everyone together for a few beers.
Sometime later this summer? What do you think?

Took the pan for a spin round palmy when i got back, bout 15ish k's runs sweet, auto clutch is kinda cool, might still go for normal pressure plate tho. Oh and Irish.... it leaks now
