After picking out the left over stub from the neck casting there was no fucken way I was going to pick this one out, So I just machined up a spigot to hold the seat post in there.

easy as now to put a little dog leg in the seat post so as to clear the rear head and exhaust port.

Too easy, Hey it even follows the profile of the head and rocker box.

OK lets see if we can do that again with the back bone. (new stickers Doug )

Yup that I'll do the trick, Now to notch that seat post to the correct hight


Love this tool a perfect notch every time.

yep it's amazing how many myths there are out there that get propagated, & because it gets said & passed around then people just start believing it, & then when you go to do the job you find out that the info was a load of crap

This looked to be an old repair and not a very good one, Welded with stainless rod too.

That should stop that from happening again.

Woody the plates where sent last week,awesome work on the shovel frame and got lucky and scored a 1.5" bdl shovel belt drive of ebay so just need a few more bits and pieces.
