Panhead goes to Deus

Doug at Deus was kind enough to let me share some space in one of the sheds so I could get enough room to work on my 62 Panhead. I have run out of room in my shed at home. We picked of a rental ute and Sara and I managed to load teh Pan without shouting and yelling at each other (not the same as when we collected its smashed up corpse originally). We were going to take my 75 Shovel in as well but decided to quit while we were ahead.



Something very cool about driving down the motorway with a vintage bike tied up in a ute. Loads of people trying to see what it was.


Short moment of panic when we got there and weren't sure how to get it off the ute in one piece.
Luckily someone had left a mini fork lift lying around. Now I really want one of these. Brilliant.


Now its safely in its new home and I can get back into it and get it out on the road.

You lucky bugger, I dig that place can't wait to get back there. Now get that thing going would ya.

Went in at lunchtime to leave in some nuts and bolts for the pan. Just as I pulled in a car full of Angels and Head Hunters pulled up and stopped right at the front door. No parking spaces for them. Wandered around making people anxious for a few minutes then pulled out. A cop who just happened to be in the cafe apparently checked their licence plate and it turned out the car was stolen and the police picked them up on the way out of town. Bugger....

I'm thinking he needs to get rid of that jeep (lawn art at it's worst) and get himself a van of his very own, If anyone needed a van it's Irish.

actually Irish ya can have my long wheel base chevy pick up for $4000 rego on hold

Remind me again in a couple of weeks when I get this new job thing sorted. I do need a truck. Either that or fix teh Jeep and get a trailer.
