Converting Ironhead rear wheel to disc brake

Hey, anyone got the low down on converting a drum brake on a Ironhead to disc? Looking at the hub it doesn't look like it is just a matter of unbolting the drum and bolting on a disc - but maybe (hopefully) I'm wrong? Also, the tire on it is currently a 16" x 120. Can I safely run a 130 - or even a bit wider - on this rim?

You will have to find a disc wheel and fab some mounts for the disc brake,130 would be the biggest tyre or you could get an offset fr sprocket and you might squeeze in a 150 but the trend(if there is one) is to go skinny

Well going by Pan/Shovel's reply I guess I am now in the game of selling the one I have and buying a more modern 16" x 130 with a disc, but for the moment I need it (or should I say Woody needs it) for mocking up the hardtail. Can I come back to you once we have that part nailed?

I've now come to my senses and will be staying with the old school look (at least for now) by keeping the rear wheel and drum brake as is. Looks cool AND saves money - I love that!
