Stolen Bike Empty
PostSubject: Stolen Bike   Stolen Bike EmptyWed Jan 18, 2012 12:08 pm

Apparently the crappy summer weather hasn't put off the bike thieves. Patrick is only over here for a couple of years from Switzerland and he had picked up this nice clean W650 from Shed 5 last year. Someone decided at the weekend that they deserved a free bike and stole it. The police aren't very interested so if anyone is offered a cheap bike, please give Patrick a call on +64 (0)22 106 15 57. The rego is A6CSF.
Cheers

Just got some more detail from Patrick.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for that. I am looking everywhere around, I didn't work for the 3 last days just to look for it.

VIN: 7AT09X3NX10042464

It has been stolen from the Airedale Parking, Auckland center. And I am pretty sure they put it in a Nissan Vanette van, white with the plate FAN854 (stolen car and stolen plates)

A bet the guy with the vintage bikes is gutted. I've only ever had one bike stolen and I was ready to kill somebody. Police did'nt even look for it. Turned out my bike and a load of others had been stolen by a bike gang and lots of parts were found in a big shed but no-one ever got anything back.
There a picture of Patrick's bike here - http://greasemonkeys-nz.blogspot.com/2012/01/stolen-bike.html
