Got the "wicked" polish out again and took to the rear wheel, its not mint, there is too much of the chrome already coming off but there was heaps of grime on it so i set aside a couple of hrs, cranked up the Slayer and went to town. heres some before and after pics.

After

yeah.. looking sharp.
apparently the yanks dont zink, copper or something what ever under their chrome.. so it wears like that, re chrome here and its heaps better lasting..

i use steelo soap pads on chrome like that and it makes quick work..

well done, its coming along real well.

Cool

Finally got started on the wiring, made a start button out of an old maglite that i had. Brought a little plastic box thing from Jaycar to hide the fuses and relay's, going to mount that under the trans.

Got all the wiring finished up tonight, all the things that are suposed to work, work so far. got tail light. head light ,high beam and speedo back light cant test the brake light untill my brake lines arrive from the states, i got a pressure switch banjo bolt like pauls sporty. start button turns the engine over. just need to wait for Gerald to finish up the tank and i can fire it up. youtube vid will follow shortly after.
